Hi, I’m Danka, a Slovak photographer based in Dublin.
My photography journey began here in Ireland, when I bought my first camera and started exploring the streets of Dublin. Street photography taught me everything – from understanding light and composition to capturing emotions in a cinematic style. It was during those early days that I discovered my passion for telling stories through images.
Back then, I knew absolutely nothing about photography or editing. I spent countless hours at my computer teaching myself Lightroom, Photoshop, and even Premiere Pro. Step by step, I learned how to edit, how to work with colours and light, and how to create that timeless, cinematic feel that I still love today.
Over the past 7 years, my passion has grown into a career that fulfils me. I photograph portraits, couples, families and brands – and I still find joy in capturing genuine moments and turning them into timeless memories. Wedding photography is a new chapter for me – I’ve captured my first wedding and I’m excited to keep growing in this field.
For me, photography isn’t just about taking pictures – it’s about connection, trust and emotion. Whether we’re shooting on the vibrant streets of Dublin, in a peaceful park, or in a cozy studio, my goal is always the same: to make you feel comfortable and confident, so together we can create something that’s truly yours – memories you’ll love for years to come.
I specialise in portrait, couple, family and fashion & beauty photography. My focus is on creating elegant, high-quality images that celebrate both beauty and individuality.
Every shoot is personal. I offer a selection of photography packages to make things simple and clear, but I know that every story is different – so I’m always happy to tailor the experience to your needs.
Whether it’s a portrait session, a family shoot, or a personal branding session, I’ll guide you through the whole process – from choosing the location and outfits to helping you feel relaxed in front of the camera. We can shoot outdoors in the city, somewhere calm in nature, or even in a studio if you want that clean, professional look.
